Once an item is embroidered and you realize that the

Take a piece of paper and slide it under the silver flap as seen the video.
In addition to cleaning under the silver flap, brush out any existing dust with a toothbrush or small soft bristle brush.
Compressed air is ok to use but blow the air very quick as you don’t want to add moisture to the bobbin case. If the bobbin case has too much moisture, the thread can swell.
If you keep your bobbin case clean, the thread glides smoothly.
