Monogram Placement for Button down Shirt on the Cuff

Fold the cuff in half and measure 1 & 1/2 inches from the fold towards the button hole.

Mark the spot to be monogrammed.

Pin the shirt to the cut away backing so it won’t move while sewing.

Hoop the shirt with the smallest hoop possible. The smaller the hoop, the more stability the item will have while sewing.

A typical monogram is a very basic block font at .25 inches tall right above the seam.

Use a small 65/9 ball point needle.
